Luke James Halsall
Luke's an indie comic writer and editor. He's worked with numerous publishers such as Markosia, who are publishing his and Cuttlefish’s SICBA (Scottish Independent Comic Book Awards) nominated Out of Time, reimagined DC Thompson’s Johnny Jett with John Grieve, Avery Hill Publishing, Grayhaven Comics, Analogue Press and Watercloset Press.
Other titles that Halsall has co-created include iHero, and The Mind Palace. Halsall is the editor of the Glasgow League of Writers' upcoming anthology. Upcoming work includes Retconned.
Gordon Mclean
Gordon is an award-winning scriptwriter who has worked across comics, film, TV and radio.
His comic book work includes No More Heroes, which won the SICBA award for Best Comic, General Jumbo for DC Thompson and Comic Book Heroes and shorts in various anthologies.
He's also written and produced a number of films and won a BAFTA Scotland New Talent Award for the mini-series Mission 1212.
His upcoming work includes Supermom, which sees him reuniting with the NMH artist Caio and will be Trongate Publishing's first release. He also has an upcoming series with Titan and has several film projects in the works.
Gordon Robertson
Gordon is the founder of the Glasgow League of Writers, the 9th Art Awards and Comics V Cancer. He's also the writer of critically acclaimed ArseCancer, which told the story of his battle with bowel cancer.
